Who We Are

DualSnap AI Camera ("DualSnap", "we", "our", or "us") is a mobile application published by Stack App Infotech. We can be reached at stackappinfotech@gmail.com.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the DualSnap AI Camera iOS application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to this policy.

02

Information you provide

The App does not require account registration. The only information you voluntarily provide is content you type into the teleprompter script editor, which is stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults and never transmitted to us or any third party.

03

How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above for the following purposes:

— To operate and improve the App's core features (dual camera, teleprompter, story mode)

— To serve relevant advertisements through Facebook Audience Network and Google AdMob

— To measure advertising performance and app install attribution via SKAdNetwork

— To diagnose crashes and improve App stability (aggregate, non-personal)

We do not use your camera feed, recorded videos, or photos for any purpose other than displaying them within the App and saving them to your device's photo library when you choose.

04

On-Device AI Processing

All AI features in DualSnap — including AI Auto-Framing, Face Detection, Talker Focus, and Hand Gesture Control — run exclusively on your device using Apple's Vision framework. No camera data, video frames, face data, or gesture data is ever sent to our servers or any third-party server.

Apple's Vision framework is a local, on-device machine learning library. It processes visual data in real time without network connectivity and retains no data between sessions. DualSnap does not store face recognition data, biometric identifiers, or any output from the Vision framework beyond the current live session.

05

Advertising & Third-Party SDKs

DualSnap is a free app supported by advertising. We integrate the following third-party advertising and analytics SDKs:

Facebook Audience Network (Meta)

The App includes the Facebook SDK. Facebook may collect your Advertising Identifier (IDFA), app install and event data, and device information to serve personalized ads and measure ad performance. Facebook's data use is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy.

The App has FacebookAutoLogAppEventsEnabled and FacebookAdvertiserIDCollectionEnabled set to true, meaning basic app events and advertiser IDs are automatically collected and shared with Facebook unless you opt out via iOS privacy settings.

Google AdMob

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. Google's data practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

SKAdNetwork

The App includes Apple's SKAdNetwork framework identifiers for privacy-preserving install attribution. SKAdNetwork does not share individual user data — it provides aggregated, anonymized install reporting only.

Your advertising choices: You can limit ad tracking by going to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and disabling "Allow Apps to Request to Track". You can also reset your Advertising Identifier from the same menu.

App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

In accordance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, DualSnap will request your permission before accessing your device's Advertising Identifier for cross-app tracking purposes. You may grant or deny this at any time via iOS Settings.

06

Camera, Microphone & Photos

DualSnap requires the following device permissions to function:

PermissionWhy We Need It
Camera To capture photos and videos using the front and back cameras simultaneously
Microphone To record audio when capturing videos
Photo Library (Add Only) To save completed photos and videos to your Photos app
Photo Library (Read) To display recordings previously saved by DualSnap

None of the content captured through these permissions is uploaded to any server. All recordings are stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud account (if you have iCloud Photos enabled — this is controlled by iOS, not DualSnap).

07

Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

Advertising partners: Advertising Identifier and app event data are shared with Facebook and Google as described in Section 5.

Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public.

Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, user data may be transferred to a successor entity, subject to the same privacy protections.

08

Data Retention

DualSnap does not maintain servers or databases containing your personal content. Your recordings and scripts exist only on your device for as long as you keep them. Deleting the App removes all locally stored App data.

Advertising-related data shared with Facebook and Google is retained according to their respective data retention policies, over which we have no control.

09

Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

Access & portability: Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you (note: we hold very little)

Deletion: Request deletion of your data by contacting us or deleting the App

Opt out of tracking: Disable ad tracking via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking

Opt out of Facebook data use: Visit Facebook Ad Preferences

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at stackappinfotech@gmail.com.

10

Children's Privacy

DualSnap AI Camera is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us immediately at stackappinfotech@gmail.com and we will take appropriate action.

11

Security

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect the App and your locally stored data. Since we do not transmit your videos, photos, or scripts to external servers, the primary security of your content rests with your device's own security features (Face ID, passcode, device encryption).

We encourage you to keep your device and iOS updated to benefit from the latest security patches.

12

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

For material changes, we will provide notice via an in-app notification or App Store update notes.
