This policy explains how Stack App Infotech (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use Beauty Cam⁺ on iPhone and iPad.
Information we collect
Beauty Cam⁺ processes camera effects, including beauty tools, filters, and face stickers, on your device. We use limited data to support and improve the app:
- Usage data — app interactions and feature usage, collected through analytics.
- Diagnostics — crash reports and device information to help fix bugs and improve stability.
Camera, microphone, and Photos access are used for the features you choose. Your captured photos and videos are stored locally unless you choose to share them.
Face data and TrueDepth
When you choose features such as AR face stickers, Beauty Cam⁺ uses Apple’s ARKit TrueDepth face tracking and on-device face landmark detection to estimate face position, orientation, facial geometry, and facial landmarks in the live camera preview. This face data is used only to place and animate selected stickers, filters, and camera effects on your face in real time.
Face data is processed on your device during the active camera session. We do not use face data to identify you, authenticate you, build a face profile, or track you across apps or websites. We do not store face geometry, face landmarks, TrueDepth data, biometric identifiers, or face recognition templates after the live session ends.
Face data is not sent to our servers and is not shared with third parties. If you save or share a photo or video, the resulting image or video may include the visible effect you selected, but the underlying face tracking data is not saved separately.
How we use your information
We use this information to operate the app, understand feature usage, fix technical issues, and improve performance.
Data sharing
We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics for analytics and diagnostics. These services may receive usage, diagnostic, and device data. We do not sell your photos or videos, and we do not share face data or TrueDepth data with third parties.
Your choices
You can manage camera, microphone, and Photos permissions in your device settings. Because face data is processed only during the active camera session and is not retained, there is no stored face data to delete. Deleting the app removes its locally stored app data; copies saved to Photos or shared elsewhere remain until you delete them separately.
Children’s privacy
Beauty Cam⁺ is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
